Connect Google Search Console
Give SearchHandled read access to your real query, page, and impression data: the input behind every Growth Map.
Why Search Console comes first
Search Console is the primary first-party source for what your site already shows up for: queries, impressions, clicks, and pages. SearchHandled uses it to score opportunities, detect decay, and measure the work it ships instead of guessing from third-party estimates.
Access is read-oriented: query and page data, sitemaps, and URL inspection. SearchHandled does not need, and does not request, permission to change your Search Console configuration.
Connect the property
- Open Settings → Integrations in your SearchHandled workspace and choose Google Search Console.
- Sign in with the Google account that has access to your property and approve the requested scopes.
- Select the property that matches the site you connected: domain property if you have one, otherwise the URL-prefix property.
- Confirm the property host matches your canonical domain (including www vs non-www).
- Run the initial sync. The first import covers the last 16 months of query and page data.
After the first sync
Your first Growth Map is built from this data plus a crawl of your site. If the property shows very little history, the map leans on crawl structure and market research instead, and fills in as data accumulates.
SearchHandled re-syncs daily. Connector health is visible on the Integrations page: if a token expires or scopes change, the connection shows a failed state rather than silently going stale.
