Connect Webflow
Map your CMS collection fields once, then publish staged or live items without flattening your design system.
What the connection does
The Webflow connector uses OAuth and the CMS API. You map your collection fields once (title, slug, body, SEO fields, and any custom fields), and SearchHandled publishes into that structure, preserving staged and live states.
Webflow is part of the launch connector set alongside WordPress, Shopify, Ghost, and a generic webhook. The fallback is a CSV or JSON export formatted for Webflow's collection import.
Set it up
- In SearchHandled, open Settings → Integrations → Webflow and start the OAuth flow. Approve access for the specific site you want to connect.
- Choose the CMS collection SearchHandled should publish into: typically your blog or resources collection.
- Map the fields: which collection field receives the title, body, meta description, and slug. Required fields must be mapped before publishing is enabled.
- Run the preflight: SearchHandled creates a staged draft item, validates the field mapping, and removes it.
- Choose whether approved work publishes as staged items for your review inside Webflow, or goes live directly for low-risk work.
Notes and limits
SearchHandled publishes content into your collection. It does not modify your site's design, components, or page structure. Rich-text body content is sent as clean HTML that inherits your existing styles.
If your plan's CMS item limit is close to full, the preflight warns you before publishing rather than failing mid-queue. Completed writes are read back when the provider supports it; keep Webflow backups enabled for recovery.
