SearchHandled builds the project, cost, and planning pages homeowners and developers search, with regulation claims held for someone who knows the jurisdiction.

01 · Page types

The pages that win in construction.

Five page families do most of the work. Here is what each looks like for this industry. Real targets come from your Growth Map.

03 · The operating loop

How SearchHandled runs it.

The same loop as every other terrain, run on the page families above and under your rules.

01

Research

We map what people ask before commissioning work (cost per square metre, permission, timescale) and check which of those your existing pages half-answer.

02

Publish

Project and service pages ship on schedule. Anything citing building regulations, structural limits, or accreditation waits for review.

03

Refresh

Completed projects are the asset that ages best and is updated least. The loop keeps galleries, costs, and accreditations current.

04 · The rules for this industry

What never publishes without a person.

Project and service pages hold for review where they touch building regulations, structural work, or certification. Everything else can publish on schedule.

Won't write

Held at any automation setting

  • Building-regulation or code compliance statements without the jurisdiction and version
  • Structural, load, or safety specifications
  • Certification, accreditation, or insurance claims we cannot verify
  • Project costs presented as fixed when they are tendered
These are refusals, not defaults. There is no setting that turns them off.

Structured data

The markup that actually applies.

  • HomeAndConstructionBusiness
  • GeneralContractor
  • Service
  • ImageObject
  • BreadcrumbList

GeneralContractor is the specific subtype. Project galleries want proper ImageObject markup with real captions: construction is a visual purchase, and image markup is one of the few places where the multi-modal signal genuinely applies.

Location pages

Where geography is real.

Planning rules, ground conditions, and typical housing stock differ by area and that is what makes a local page real. Two towns in the same planning authority usually do not need two pages, and we say so rather than writing both.

Evidence

What you have to be able to show.

Completed projects with dates, locations, and photographs you took, plus the accreditations you hold with their registration numbers. In a trade where the main buyer fear is being ripped off, verifiable specificity is the entire pitch.

05 · Assistants

How construction loses in AI answers.

Assistants answer 'how much does X cost' from national price-guide sites. A builder gets named by publishing its own real project costs with the variables explained, a dataset the guides approximate and the builder actually has.

The prompts we would sample

  • How much does an extension cost per square metre?
  • Do I need planning permission for this?
  • How long does a build like this take?
  • How do I check a builder is actually accredited?
Assistant answers are personalised and happen in private conversations, so any sample is a logged-out approximation, never a measure of how many of your buyers saw what.
