For home service businesses
More booked jobs from the searches homeowners already run.
SearchHandled builds the service, city, and cost pages that turn urgent searches into calls and keeps them current season after season.
01 · Page types
The pages that win in home services.
Five page families do most of the work. Here is what each looks like for this industry. Real targets come from your Growth Map.

03 · The operating loop
How SearchHandled runs it.
The same loop as every other terrain, run on the page families above and under your rules.
Research
We map the services, breakdowns, and cities homeowners search, weighted by job value and seasonality.
Publish
Pages ship to your site under your rules, with local proof and pricing claims reviewed before they go live.
Refresh
The refresh engine updates seasonal pages, stale cost figures, and overlapping posts before peak season hits.
04 · The rules for this industry
What ships on schedule, and what waits.
Service and location pages can publish on a schedule. Anything touching licensing, permits, or safety compliance routes to review, because those are the claims that get a contractor in trouble rather than merely outranked.

Held whatever your rules say
- Licence or insurance claims we cannot verify from what you gave us
- Fixed prices for work that is quoted after a site visit
- Emergency response times presented as a guarantee
- Permit or code statements without the jurisdiction named
Structured data
The markup that actually applies.
HomeAndConstructionBusinessPlumberHVACBusinessServiceBreadcrumbList
Specific subtypes over generic LocalBusiness, with geo coordinates to five decimal places and real opening hours. We do not use HowTo markup for repair guides (Google retired it in 2023) and write the steps as proper headings instead, which is what it now reads anyway.
Location pages
Where geography is real.
This is the vertical location pages were invented for, and the one most damaged by doing them badly. The test we run before writing: delete the town name from two of your pages, and if what is left is the same page, we do not write the second one. Real difference means local pricing, the actual jobs done there, and the constraints of that housing stock.
Evidence
What you have to be able to show.
Job photographs with dates and towns, and the trade certifications you actually hold. A contractor's experience signal is the work itself; a page describing water-heater replacement with stock photography reads to both a homeowner and a ranking system as somebody who has not done one.
05 · Assistants
How home services loses in AI answers.
Assistants answer 'best plumber near me' from map listings and review aggregators, so the website contributes indirectly, through consistency of name, address, and phone across every place they appear. An inconsistent phone number across three directories is a bigger AI-visibility problem here than anything on the site.
The prompts we would sample
- Who is the best emergency plumber near me right now?
- How much does it cost to replace a water heater?
- Do I need a permit to replace my furnace?
- How do I find a contractor who will actually turn up?
