For manufacturers and industrial suppliers

Specifications a buyer can read before they contact you.

SearchHandled turns the capability documents already sitting in your PDFs into pages engineers and procurement can find, with compliance claims held for review.

01 · Page types

The pages that win in manufacturing.

Five page families do most of the work. Here is what each looks like for this industry. Real targets come from your Growth Map.

03 · The operating loop

How SearchHandled runs it.

The same loop as every other terrain, run on the page families above and under your rules.

01

Research

We find what technical buyers search (material, tolerance, standard, application) and which of your answers currently exist only inside a downloadable PDF.

02

Publish

Application and capability pages ship on schedule. Specifications, tolerances, and standards compliance hold for someone who owns the documentation.

03

Refresh

Certifications expire and capability changes. The loop keeps the standards pages honest rather than advertising an accreditation that lapsed.

04 · The rules for this industry

What never publishes without a person.

Product and capability pages hold for review where they state specifications, tolerances, or compliance. Marketing and application pages publish on schedule.

Won't write

Held at any automation setting

  • Specifications, tolerances, or materials data not taken from your documentation
  • Certification or standards-compliance claims without the standard and issuer
  • Lead times or capacity figures presented as commitments
  • Performance claims about a competitor's equipment
These are refusals, not defaults. There is no setting that turns them off.

Structured data

The markup that actually applies.

  • Organization
  • Product
  • Service
  • Dataset
  • BreadcrumbList

Product for components, and Dataset genuinely applies here: it is not dead, Dataset Search consumes it, and a published specification table is exactly the sort of technical dataset it indexes. Most manufacturing sites publish specification tables with no markup at all.

No location pages

Why we will not build them here.

Industrial buyers source by capability and certification, not proximity, and the geography that matters is which markets you can ship and certify into. City pages in this sector are the clearest doorway pages we see, because nobody chooses a machining supplier by town.

Evidence

What you have to be able to show.

Real specification tables, certifications with issuer and number, tolerances you actually hold, and application notes from work you have done. Technical buyers verify before contacting; a page of capability adjectives with no numbers is filtered out before a human reads it.

05 · Assistants

How manufacturing loses in AI answers.

Assistants answer sourcing questions from directories and standards bodies. A manufacturer gets named by having its specifications published as readable text rather than locked inside a PDF or an image, which is where most of this sector's best content currently sits, invisible.

The prompts we would sample

  • Who manufactures this component to this specification?
  • What is the lead time for a run of this size?
  • Which material is right for this application?
  • Can a supplier meet the standard my sector requires?
Assistant answers are personalised and happen in private conversations, so any sample is a logged-out approximation, never a measure of how many of your buyers saw what.
