For veterinary practices
The practice owners find when the question is urgent.
SearchHandled writes the service, cost, and out-of-hours pages pet owners search under pressure, with every clinical statement held for a vet to approve.
01 · Page types
The pages that win in veterinary.
Five page families do most of the work. Here is what each looks like for this industry. Real targets come from your Growth Map.

03 · The operating loop
How SearchHandled runs it.
The same loop as every other terrain, run on the page families above and under your rules.
Research
We rank the queries owners actually run (cost, urgency, and availability) above the general pet-health topics the big aggregators already own.
Publish
Anything that could shape a decision about an animal's care waits for a veterinary surgeon to read it. Everything else ships on schedule.
Refresh
Price lists, vaccination schedules, and emergency arrangements are re-checked on a cycle, because these are the pages an owner acts on immediately.
04 · The rules for this industry
What never publishes without a person.
Animal-health content holds for review. It is not human YMYL, but an owner acting on a wrong answer harms an animal, and we treat that as the same bar.
Won't write
Held at any automation setting
- Dosage, medication, or emergency-treatment instructions
- Statements about whether a symptom is urgent
- Breed-specific health claims without a veterinary source
- Pricing for procedures that depend on examination
Structured data
The markup that actually applies.
VeterinaryCarePersonServiceOfferBreadcrumbList
VeterinaryCare is its own LocalBusiness subtype and is routinely missed in favour of generic markup. Out-of-hours availability belongs in openingHoursSpecification, where it is machine-readable, rather than only in prose.
Location pages
Where geography is real.
Owners choose within a short drive and care intensely about out-of-hours cover, so a location page that states the real emergency arrangement for that branch earns its place. One that repeats the group's generic hours does not.
Evidence
What you have to be able to show.
Named veterinary surgeons with their registration, and the practice's own facilities and cases. Owners are choosing who touches their animal; anonymity costs more here than in almost any comparable local trade.
05 · Assistants
How veterinary loses in AI answers.
Assistants answer pet-health questions from large aggregator sites and are cautious about urgency. A practice competes by owning the local logistics question (who is actually open now, what does it cost, what happens when you arrive), which the aggregators cannot answer.
The prompts we would sample
- Is this symptom an emergency for my dog?
- How much does it cost to neuter a cat near me?
- Which vet near me is open on a Sunday?
- What vaccinations does a puppy actually need?
